My husband and best friend passed from this world on July 25th, 2012. He left too soon, but he told me before he passed that he had to go. He was a cowboy. He is riding the trail, pushing horns on one of his favorite horses, Porkie or Chili. I love you. We are partners for life.

May God hold you in the crook of his arms and protect and soothe your soul, Our thoughts are with you, God Bless
Thank you so much. I debated about mentioning this on the blog, but decided to share because I will be entering into a new phase of life and cooking. I do appreciate the good thoughts and prayers. Linda
Our most sincere condolences and best wishes. We pray for him, and you.
Thank you so much. Bless you too. Linda
We are so sorry for your loss and can’t imagine how tough these times are for you. I know your strength will find you through it and hope you find comfort in knowing that you both made each other’s lives much better in the time that you were blessed with sharing. You’re in our thoughts and we wish you well.
Thank you very much. We had good times and many laughs. As I go about the daily chores feeding the chickens, horses and the dogs. I’m always thinking about him. He is not far away. Thank you for the kind words, I do appreciate them. Linda
Oh Linda, I am so sorry for your loss! I have been checking your web site for new recipes and noticed there were no posts lately, so I thought maybe your husband had taken a turn for the worse. Please accept my sincere condolences. Sho
Thank you, Sho, I really appreciate that. The last several months have been difficult. We thought we had a good chance of fighting the cancer off, but it was not to be. We were hoping to get another trip to Scotland in since Mike really enjoyed our honeymoon and he really wanted to see the highlands. I’ll start posting again in the next couple of days.
